Music City Hot Chicken Festival Debut- East Park - July 4th

All Nashvillians are welcome to join in the free, fiery fun

NASHVILLE – What’s hotter than the Fourth of July? Find out at Celebrate Nashville’s Music City Hot Chicken Festival on July 4, from Noon – 2 p.m. at East Park on Woodland Street.

Fiery festivities feature free samples from 400˚, Bolton’s Spicy Chicken and Fish, and Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack, as well as entertainment and activities for the entire family.

The event will feature an amateur chicken cooking contest with 6 contestants being judged by our participating famous Hot Chicken Shack owners.

The 2007 Hot Chicken Festival is a Celebrate Nashville event brought to you by Comcast, WSMV-TV, AT&T, First Tennessee, Ingram Industries, HCA, Wal-Mart, Purity Dairies and The Tennessean.

Celebrate Nashville marks the city’s 200th anniversary with a nine-month celebration of the many things that make Nashville unique, including the city’s rich history and great music tradition. The program began on the date of Nashville’s incorporation as a city, October 1 and will end on the nation’s birthday, July 4.
