The Society of Nashville's Artistic Photographer's (SNAP) is having its Third Annual Pushpin show. The exhibition of its members' work will be at the Plowhaus Artists Cooperative in East Nashville. The gallery show will feature unframed work from a diverse group of twenty photographers based in the mid-state area. Each of the photographers will have an equal amount of wall space to display their unframed pieces from Sept 15-23, 2007.
The show will begin with a reception featuring food, beverages, music and most of the artists in attendance on Saturday Sept. 15, 2007 from 7-10 pm.
The Society of Nashville's Artistic Photographers (SNAP) is a Nashville-based group dedicated to promoting photographers and their work. The group's meetings, held on the second Tuesday of each month, feature creative and constructive critiques of portfolio work and current personal projects, planning of future events and general discussion of artistic photography. In addition, members participate in exhibitions throughout the city and themed shooting projects within the group. There are no dues associated with membership and anyone with an interest in photography is welcome to join.
