5 Points Business open houses - Sat, Dec 1st

Saturday, December 1st - 5 POINTS = 5 OPEN HOUSES...join us for the fun!‏

Several Five Points merchants have banded together to kick off the holidays in style. This Saturday, December 1, please join us for a day of good cheer, open houses and beautiful gifts to take home to tuck under the tree!

Let’s start with the yellow house at 1110 Woodland Street:
This great old house has three new businesses under one roof, all of which have something to offer that will add spice to your holidays. They are hosting an open house from 4pm – 8pm, and will be offering wine and light hors d’oeurves to visitors.

Cloud 12 Art Gallery will be opening their show for Chicago artist, Clare Malloy. Malloy is noted for her paintings of landscapes and gothic barns, all of which have a mysterious simplicity. Sparse backgrounds offset her saturated colors lifting inanimate objects to a state of timeless glory. A detached calmness lingers around her figures. Rich and poignant, these intimate objects are slightly surreal but satiated with beauty http://www.claremalloy.com/

Wonders on Woodland is home to one of the most varied collections of vintage collectibles, retro accessories, designer costume jewelry that this town has ever seen. It truly is a wonder, and you are sure to find plenty of one-of-a kind cool treasures!

Be sure to stop by and sample your choice of either all-beef, turkey, or tofu dog topped with one of many delicious homemade toppings!
