5 Points Business open houses - Sat, Dec 1st

Saturday, December 1st - 5 POINTS = 5 OPEN HOUSES...join us for the fun!‏

Several Five Points merchants have banded together to kick off the holidays in style. This Saturday, December 1, please join us for a day of good cheer, open houses and beautiful gifts to take home to tuck under the tree!

Let’s start with the yellow house at 1110 Woodland Street:
This great old house has three new businesses under one roof, all of which have something to offer that will add spice to your holidays. They are hosting an open house from 4pm – 8pm, and will be offering wine and light hors d’oeurves to visitors.

Cloud 12 Art Gallery will be opening their show for Chicago artist, Clare Malloy. Malloy is noted for her paintings of landscapes and gothic barns, all of which have a mysterious simplicity. Sparse backgrounds offset her saturated colors lifting inanimate objects to a state of timeless glory. A detached calmness lingers around her figures. Rich and poignant, these intimate objects are slightly surreal but satiated with beauty

Wonders on Woodland is home to one of the most varied collections of vintage collectibles, retro accessories, designer costume jewelry that this town has ever seen. It truly is a wonder, and you are sure to find plenty of one-of-a kind cool treasures!

Back East owner Lori Honig has scoured the countryside to bring you unique antiques and vintage treasures, along with a wide variety of handmade home accessories.

Next Door at 1108 Woodland Street:
It is a “Weenie Wonderland” at East Nashville’s own I Dream Of Weenie hotdog stand! Voted best hotdog in Nashville in the Nashville Scene’s reader’s poll, I Dream of Weenie will be serving delicious grilled hotdogs on soft bakery buns Monday through Saturday throughout the holidays! Be sure to stop by and sample your choice of either all-beef, turkey, or tofu dog topped with one of many delicious homemade toppings!

Moving On To 1106 Woodland Street:
Art & Invention Gallery is decking the halls with everything from fine art to handmade artisan gifts! Come see the remarkable array of paintings, jewelry, pottery, prints, textiles, glass, sculpture (need I say more?) that has been collected throughout the year to make your holiday shopping a breeze! Offering a wide variety of styles and price ranges, there is something to fit everyone’s budget at this wonderful show.
Please join us for the Opening Reception, Dec. 1, from 6pm-10pm
