The Turnip Truck (970 Woodland St.) will be hosting the latest addition to East Nashville's growing list of retail choices. The new East Nashville Market will kick off on Wednesday May 21 from 4 to 7 PM in the surrounding parking and green area around the store. The opening day will include local music, giveaways, contests and store discounts. Spread the word and come on out!
The market will be an all organic, producers only market and include vegetables, flowers, milk, meats, herbs, plants, cheeses, mushrooms and eggs, as well candles and natural dye t-shirts.
Participating vendors include Angel Radiance, ASK Apparel, Delvin Farms, Eatons Creek Organics, Gardner Grove, Hatcher Dairy, Jones Mill Farm and Certified Kitchen, Madison Creek Farms, Paradise Produce, Peaceful Pastures, Pipsessewa Herbs/Lisa's Greenhouse, SonFarm, Spiral Market Dyeworks, Spring Haven Organic Farm, Three Meadows Farm, Timbertop Farm, West Wind Farm.
