The Metro Parks Department is holding a Master Plan public meeting to get input on the development of Shelby Park. Parks is specifically soliciting participation in this process from neighbors and stakeholder groups. This is the kind of meeting that will break up into small groups to develop our vision for the future of the park.
I plan to attend to personally lobby for inclusion of a "Small Dog Park" in the plan. If you want to pass along ideas to me to take to the meeting that would be great; but, it would be great to get a big turnout and help set the direction for the park.
