Reminder - Meeting this Tuesday, 6:30 pm

Our next neighborhood meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12th.

It will be at 6:30 pm at Eastwood Christian Church at 1601 Eastland Ave.

It's a potluck, so bring a fave dish, bucket of chicken, drinks or whatever; bring the kids; and get to know your neighbors!

On the agenda is:

• Our councilman, Mike Jameson (along with Councilman Eric Cole), will be there to speak on several topics relevant to our district, along with MDHA who will give a presentation about the proposed Convention Center;
  
• Camille Spadafino, art teacher from Lockeland Design Center, will be there to talk about upcoming changes and community input for East Literature Middle/High School;
  
• Update on tree project;
  
• Possible update on the development at Eastland/Porter

Please spread the word to neighbors who might not get this feed or read this blog, since a newsletter will NOT be going out before this meeting.
