Good news! On Monday, January 11th the Metro Traffic and Parking Commission granted our appeal regarding the Eastland/Porter intersection. The Commission asked Public Works to proceed with installing a three-way stop sign and cross walks. Thanks to Council Members Eric Cole and Mike Jameson as well as Urban Housing Solutions, Eastwood Neighbors and ReDiscover East representatives for testifying at this appeal hearing. Stay tuned as discussions with Public Works continue to iron out details.
