Development Proposal For Eastland/Porter Intersection Subject Of Tuesday, 08/13 Eastwood Neighbors Meeting

The upcoming Eastwood Neighbors meeting will feature a discussion about a redevelopment proposal for the apartment complex that is located at the Porter/Eastland intersection.  At this time, the proposal is to develop 11 single-family homes on the site, which is currently occupied by two apartment blocks.  This proposal is presently in the very early conceptualization stages.   The architect is a fellow Eastwood Neighbor and is looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions.  Please come out to hear the proposal and share your ideas to improve this prime corner.

The meeting will also include an East Precinct update and a status update on some of the other development or rezoning proposals that have been discussed at recent community meetings.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 13th starting at 6:30 PM at Eastwood Christian Church, 1601 Eastland Ave.  Please note a slight change of venue:  the meeting will take place in the main sanctuary of the church this time.
