The 8th annual Country Music Marathon & 1/2 Marathon will take place on Saturday, April 28, 2007. With the event’s popularity continuing to grow, we are anticipating 23,000 runners to participate, and a total of 4,000 volunteers will be needed to successfully stage the event. The event not only gives Nashville positive national exposure, but it also raises millions of dollars for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through its Team In Training program.
For their time and effort, every volunteer will receive a Race Crew T-shirt, goodie bag and free ticket to the post-race concert at the Gaylord Entertainment Center on Saturday, April 28, 2007. In addition, each volunteer's name will be entered into the Race Crew Appreciation Drawing with a chance to win two round-trip tickets to any Southwest Airlines destination AND a two-night stay at a selected partner hotel. All volunteers at the Health and Fitnesss Expo will have their name entered into the drawing TWICE!!
