Nashville Area MPO

Your recent participation in workshops for the Nashville Area MPO’s Regional Bicycle & Pedestrian Study contributed greatly to the importance of thinking about the inclusion of a variety of options in our regional transportation network.

Thoughtful investment in infrastructure needs –to support walking, biking, use of transit– plays an integral role in helping the region to fulfill its goals for livability, prosperity and sustainability. Now, the MPO invites you to share your thoughts in helping to further plan for transit investments, specifically in Robertson, Sumner & Wilson counties:

The Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) –a multi-county, regional planning agency– is working closely with local planners and community leaders to develop a plan to address growth. Local governments expect to use the effort to develop or improve upon their own comprehensive plans.
