Eastwood Neighbors/Rosebank Christmas Angels

As many of you know, Eastwood Neighbors Association has, in past years, run a Christmas Angel program in conjunction with Cora Howe Elementary. Most of these neighborhood students now attend Rosebank Elementary after last year's zoning changes.

A teacher at Rosebank, Cynthia Wiggins, has graciously offered to run this program this year. She has 20 Christmas Angels available for those of you looking for a wonderful holiday giving opportunity within your own neighborhood.

If you would like to 'adopt' a Christmas Angel from Rosebank, please contact Ms. Wiggins at Cynthia.wiggins@mnps.org to let her know and she will email you back with a child's gender, age, sizes, etc.

All gifts, wrapped and labeled as instructed by Ms Wiggins (I believe she is assigning numbers this year), are to be dropped off at Rosebank Elementary (see map here) by December 11. If you cannot drop off your gifts during school hours, please contact Jodi O'Hara at kjohara@comcast.net for an alternative drop off location during evening hours.

Also, I realize this is more last minute than usual, and for that we apologize. In the past this has been organized by someone within Cora Howe at the Family Resource Center (FRC). Rosebank does not have a FRC, so we are fortunate that Ms Wiggins has elected to take this on and although it's last minute, I hope that some neighbors will help to make some children in our neighborhood's Christmas a little brighter.

Happy Holidays!!
