UPDATED: New Block Party on Granada Ave, Friday, September 7th at 7:00 PM
Eastwood neighbor Ken Baker is organizing the 1st Annual Andrea Morrison Baker Memorial Block Party on Friday, September 7th in the 1100 block of Granada Ave. Proceeds benefitted the East Nashville Margaret Maddox YMCA free swimming program for youth. Entertainment included Grammy-Award-winning songwriter Bob Morrison ("You Decorated My Life," "Lookin For Love" and others) at 7:30 PM, Tommy Womack at 8:00 PM, and the rock band, Bullets To Spare at 9:00 PM. The event raised over $2,000! Not bad for a first-year event. Thanks to Ken Baker for his hard work putting on the event and to our generous neighbors who came out to support the cause.
