Two informative, fun, and FREE events are scheduled for this Saturday, 03/09:

Nashville Electric Service (NES) is holding another Neighborhood Energy Workshop on Saturday, 03/09/13, from 9:30 AM till 11:00 AM at the East Park Rec Center, 600 Woodland Street, Nashville, TN 37206. You will learn easy, energy-efficiency improvements that anyone can do at home, such as weather-stripping and sealing exterior doors and caulking around windows and baseboards. Participants will receive a free energy-saving tool-kit, including caulk, expanding foam, low-flow aerators and showerhead, CFLs, weather-stripping, and water heater pipe insulation, as well as an action plan for saving money. And, the best part is, you can try out all of the techniques before putting them into practice. The Metro Historic Commission is again putting on an Old House Fair on Saturday, 03/09/13 located at the Cohn School, 4805 Park Avenue, 9AM-3PM. Free event. Great raffle prizes.
