Eastwood's Next Meeting is Tuesday, April 9th, 6:30 PM

Eastwood's next neighborhood meeting will take place on Tueday, April 9th 2012 at 6:30 PM at Eastwood Christian Church, 1601 Eastland Ave. This meeting will be an opportunity for you and your family to provide input towards the next 25 years of Nashville's development.

Please bring the whole family for this meeting: Nashville Planning Department staff are conducting a neighborhood-focused version of the exciting NashvilleNext planning process that has seen standing-room-only attendance at their events throughout the city. Now that the general process has kicked off, Planning is coming out to the neighborhoods to get input from as many people as possible. Please bring the kids! There will be children's activities.

NashvilleNext is a process to create a plan for the future of Nashville. The process is just starting and will last roughly three years. The purpose of a three year long process is to gather input from the community. The goal is to create a plan that will ensure the prosperity and wellbeing of our city and region for the next 25 years. The plan will be created with input from people who care about Nashville – from residents to business owners to commuting workers to city leaders – as well as experts in a variety of areas that are important to our city’s growth. (Areas include art and culture, economic development, education, environment, transportation, diversity, livable communities, public safety and more.)
