Eastwood's Conservation Zoning Overlay Education and Survey Collection Featured On WSMV News

Our neighborhood's conversation about the Conservation Zoning Overlay expansion proposal was featured on WSMV Channel 4 News last night. Visit http://www.wsmv.com/story/24524481/east-nashville-neighbors-concerned-new-homes-losing-charm to view the story.

The expansion proposal area goes from the current boundaries west to Gallatin Road and east to Porter Road and roughly from Greenwood south to Eastland.

The survey form asks property owners to indicate whether they WOULD SUPPORT, WOULD NOT SUPPORT, HAVE NO OPINION, or NEED ADDITIONAL INFORMATION about including their street/block in the expansion proposal.

Several property owners have indicated that they would like additional information, and that is the purpose of the information session that is scheduled for Monday, January 27th at 6:30 PM at Eastwood Christian Church, 1601 Eastland Ave.

Owners of properties that are outside of the current overlay boundaries but inside the expansion proposal area may contact Brett Withers to obtain a survey.

As the story emphasized, survey forms are due to Brett Withers at bwithers365ATgmailDOTcom by no later than Tuesday, January 28th.
