We need your help!
Eastwood Neighbors will host a neighborhood clean-up/beautification event on Saturday, May 31st. Volunteers should plan to meet at the Cora Howe School parking lot at 9:00 AM on Saturday. We will form teams to help pick up litter, identify bulk items for pick-up, and possibly cover over graffiti. The more volunteers we have, the more area we can cover in less time. Please come by and pitch in to help. Supplies and refreshments will be provided.
Eastwood Neighbors is also calling for Pretty Property awards nominations for our June 10th neighborhood meeting. Let's give some recognition to our neighbors who are spiffing up their properties and beautifying the whole neighborhood.
Here's what to do:
Snap photos and send them to admin@eastwoodneighbors.org including the property address. The photos may be of your own or of any neighbor's property. Please include contact information for the property owner if possible.
The photos will be printed out and displayed at the June 10th Eastwood Neighbors meeting. Meeting attendees will vote on their favorite submission for each category. We will announce the winners at the end of the meeting and in upcoming communications. Winners need not be present to win.
The Pretty Properties beautification categories are:
-Best residential exterior renovation
-Best business exterior renovation
-Best landscape renovation
-Best new construction project
-Best yard art or structure
Start taking and sending in your photos today. Then come out to the June 10th Eastwood Neighbors meeting to vote for your favorites.
