Eastwood Neighbors and Rosebank Neighbors are joining together to host a community meeting on Thursday, July 31st to discuss a rezoning for 942 Riverside Drive. This property is located at the corner of Riverside Drive and Waters Avenue immediately south of the Riverside/Rosebank intersection.
This rezoning has already passed the Planning Commission hearing, but the purpose of this meeting is to allow neighbors to ask questions or to provide feedback prior to the Metro Council public hearing on Tuesday, August 5th.
The community meeting will be held at Eastwood Christian Church, 1601 Eastland Avenue, in the Education Building. The meeting will start at 7:00 PM.
The applicant and Council Member Peter Westerholm will be in attendance. Any interested neighbors are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Eastwood Neighbors is a charming, urban residential area characterized by early- to mid-20th century single-family residences and multi-family units representing a range of architectural styles. Eastwood Neighbors, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 1992 by community members.
