Two important community meetings this week to discuss large development proposals

There are two upcoming community meetings that Eastwood Neighbors should plan to attend.

The first community meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 28th at 6:00 PM and will take place at the log home at the corner of Tillman and Powers.  This is a third community meeting to discuss the Heritage East proposal at Porter and Tillman.  This item was considered by the Metro Planning Commission at the January 22nd hearing and the Commissioners deferred the item one month in order to encourage additional community discussion.   Neighbors who are not able to attend this meeting but would like to discuss it further are encouraged to contact Lanier Brandau at 615-924-9115 or lbrandauATgmailDOTcom.

The second community meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 29th at 6:00 PM at Eastwood Christian Church, 1601 Eastland Ave.  This meeting will be to discuss the Greenwood Village proposal at the corner of Greenwood and Chapel.  This proposal has been presented at the October and December Eastwood Neighbors meetings.  This additional community meeting is a final step that is needed before the development team presents the proposal to the Planning Commission.

The next regular Eastwood Neighbors meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 10th at Eastwood Christian Church.  An agenda will be published soon.
