A community meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, January 7th, 2015 at 6:30 PM at the log home at 209 Tillman (at the corner of Tillman/Powers) to discuss a redevelopment proposal named Heritage East. The project would add an apartment building at the corner of Porter and Tillman and would add a cottage development along Powers north of Tillman. The Colley family, who are long-time Eastwood residents and property owners, held an earlier community meeting on Wednesday, December 3rd at the log home and they are again opening their home as a meeting place to discuss the proposal with neighbors. Eastwood and Rolling Acres neighbors are invited to attend.
Eastwood Neighbors is a charming, urban residential area characterized by early- to mid-20th century single-family residences and multi-family units representing a range of architectural styles. Eastwood Neighbors, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 1992 by community members.
