Metro Nashville Public Works Department will begin Brush collections in AREA 2 next Wednesday, 12/12/2007.
Brush crews begin in the downtown area and work out to the county line, and it usually takes 8-10 days to complete pickups in an area. To ensure that your brush is not missed, you should have limbs and all other yard waste out and ready for pick-up on or before next Wednesday, December 12.
Fall leaf collections in Area 2 will end on Saturday, December 8, so you should place any bagged leaves out for pickup as soon as possible. Leaves must be bagged in either paper or plastic, and placed where your household trash is collected -- either at the curb or in a public alley. Another bagged leaf collection for AREA 2 is scheduled from January 22-February 2, 2008.
