Fanny Battle: Help with move to 108 Chapel Ave August 5th - 10th
August 4, 2011 will mark our last day of operation at 911 Shelby Avenue. Fannie Battle will be moving into our new home at 108 Chapel Avenue. Please sign up to help us move by contacting Rachel at rmartinez@fanniebattle.org. Volunteers are needed August 5-10 to help with packing, moving, cleaning, organizing, unpacking, setting up, as well as skilled labor for many other tasks. Volunteers will be needed after the move to help us get settled, make our new home truly our new home, and to help with the Natural Playscape.

Rosebank Elementary: Help with Classroom Set-Up August 8th and 10th
Rosebank teachers could use our help setting up their classrooms next week. Stand for Children is looking to get as many hands on deck as possible to offer up help to whatever teachers may need it. We have two days we'd like volunteers for: Monday, August 8th (2-4pm) and Wednesday, August 10th (2-4pm). School starts next Thursday so we want to make sure teachers are ready and children have a welcoming environment.
If you can come one or both days, for anytime at all, we'd be so grateful. We would like folks at least between the hours of 2-4pm but you could certainly stay longer if you wanted to. Childcare will be provided so feel free to bring your children along with you if need be! RSVP to Faye at chrisandfaye@gmail.com.
